Six Flags to hire 4,000 at Saturday job fair

JACKSON - Six Flags Great Adventure will have a job fair on Saturday in hopes of hiring 4,000 workers for the summer tourism season.

The amusement park is trying to fill dozens of different kinds of jobs. Among them: ride operators, security, landscaping and safari guides.

The Jackson-based amusement park opens its 2016 season on March 23. Its schedule will ramp up during the summer. And it officially lasts until Jan. 1.

3 Shore employers who are hiring

The job fair will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the employment center. Auditions for entertainment jobs – actors, dancers, show hosts, stilt walkers and jugglers – will be at 2 p.m.

Candidates should fill out on application online at www.sixflagsjobs.com before attending the fair. On Saturday, they should go to the employment entrance, one mile west of the main park entrance.
