VINELAND - Police are searching for a 32-year-old man on drug and weapons charges.

Carlton Goldsboro III, of the 800 block of Bradford Drive, is wanted as of Oct. 25, when Vineland police searched his BMW and found close to 1,200 bags of heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana and a loaded .357 handgun.

Just two days earlier, on Oct. 23, police said they stopped Goldsboro in the area of East Avenue and Hendee Road after it was determined Goldsboro had been driving with a suspended driver’s license.

Sgt. Adam Shaw and his K-9 partner Pikke were called to the scene for an exterior sniff of Goldsboro’s car.

Pikke came back with a “positive alert” for narcotics odor and police had Goldsboro’s car towed while they waited for a search warrant.

Goldsboro was released from the scene that day, police said.
