Vineland woman reported missing from group home

VINELAND -  Police are appealing for help to track down a 22-year-old woman who reportedly walked away from a supervised group home about two weeks ago.

Marielle Schafer, of Vineland, left the group home in the 800 block of East Elmer Street, operated by the Cumberland County Guidance Center, on Nov. 16, police said. Schafer was last seen by employees in the area of South Myrtle and Cherry streets.

Schafer is about 5 feet 4 inches tall, approximately 180 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair that she usually wears in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing an orange sweatshirt, white pants with black lettering and black and red sneakers. Schafer is a known smoker who prefers Newport cigarettes, police said.
