Bridgeton man indicted on attempted murder

BRIDGETON - A city man was indicted by a Cumberland County Grand Jury Wednesday on attempted murder and other charges related to a September shooting.

Raheem Jamison was indicted on six counts, including attempted murder in the first degree, two counts of aggravated assault and various weapons charges.

Jamison is accused in the Sept. 27 shooting of Leighton Milledge, 44, on the 200 block of South Avenue.

Bridgeton man indicted over bar killing

Milledge was left with a neck wound as a result of the shooting, and was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he later recovered.

Jamison is currently lodged in Cumberland County Jail on $250,000 full cash bail.
