Woman killed in crash in Ocean County

SHIP BOTTOM - Officials say a woman died after she drove through a red light and her vehicle was hit by a pickup truck in Ocean County.

The county prosecutor’s office says 53-year-old Lori Pelosi of Long Beach was headed south on Barnegat Avenue in Ship Bottom Wednesday when she drove into the intersection against the light.

Her vehicle was hit by a pickup driven by 49-year-old Todd Parillo of Little Egg Harbor. He was not injured.

Pelosi died at a hospital.
