Gloucester teacher, coach charged with sex with teen
GLOUCESTER CITY – A Gloucester City High School softball coach and substitute teacher faces charges in connection to a sexual relationship with a student in 2008, authorities said.
David H. Light Jr., 33, was arrested Friday and charged with four counts of second-degree sexual assault and four counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
The Gloucester City man's bail was set at $200,000.
The prosecutor's office alleges Light had a sexual relationship between May and December 2008 with a 17-year-old girl. Light was the girl's softball coach and substitute teacher at the high school at the time, according to the prosecutor's office.
