Vineland Police seek robber with hand tattoo

VINELAND  Police are hoping a distinct hand tattoo will help lead them to the suspect in a center city holdup Tuesday morning.

Just before 10:30 a.m., a male suspect entered the Landis Food Market, located in the 500 block of East Landis Avenue, and walked around for several minutes before pulling a weapon.

Armed with a black and silver handgun, the suspect took off on foot with an undetermined amount of cash, according to detectives.

No injuries were reported, according to detectives.

Vineland bank robber captured on tape

The subject appears to be a dark-skinned male wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white sneakers with an orange stripe on the back of the sole area.

The tattoo caught on surveillance tape is on the suspect's right hand.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect in this incident.
