  • A Craftsman tool box and tools, valued at $400, were reported stolen from an unsecured car garage Tuesday in the 2700 block of Vine Road.
  • Police are looking for the shoplifter who attempted to steal a $14.99 flower bouquet from the West Landis Avenue ShopRite on Wednesday but was stopped by store security. The suspect left the area in a silver sports utility vehicle.
  • Denice Fithian, 35, of the 100 block of Arnold Drive in Millville, was arrested Wednesday and charged with shoplifting $93.13 worth of home goods from Boscov’s. Fithian was also wanted on Millville Municipal Court warrant.
  • George L. Sapp, 38, of the 300 block of North Orchard Road, was arrested Wednesday at the Cumberland County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals on seven child support warrants totaling more than $102,000. He was held in Cumberland County Jail.
  • Thomas Pollock, 29, of the 7500 block of Keron Drive in Millville, was arrested on a shoplifting charge Wednesday at the Home Depot. He went through the self-checkout line and failed to scan a DeWalt drill and plywood, which were part of a larger order, police said.
  • Kimberly Saunderlin, 33, of the 1300 block of Old Lake Road, was charged with shoplifting after her arrest Wednesday. She was charged with the theft of two dozen Gatorade Protein bars and two six-packs of Pure Protein bars, valued at $75.03, from the South Lincoln Avenue Rite Aid. She was also wanted on a Vineland Municipal Court warrant.
  • A resident of the 4200 block of South Main Road reported the theft of his wallet, containing a debit card, driver’s license and $250 cash, from his unlocked Ford pickup on Wednesday.
  • Kathryn M. Evey,  21, of Elmer, was arrested Wednesday after a traffic stop at Delsea Drive and Park Avenue and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
  • Gabriel Velazquez, 24, of the 2900 block of North East Avenue, was arrested during a traffic stop Wednesday at Chestnut Avenue and Spring Road on five warrants, including a no-bail warrant issued by Cumberland County Superior Court. He was held in Cumberland County Jail.
  • Police are looking for a female suspect who attempted to shoplift $279.96 worth of tools from Sears on Tuesday. When confronted by store security, the woman dropped the items and ran across Delsea Drive toward Walmart, police said.
  • Police are investigating a counterfeit $100 that a customer tried to use to pay for a money gram Tuesday at the West Landis Avenue Walmart. The bill was turned over to the U.S Secret Service, who noted bills with the same serial number were passed in New York, Connecticut and other states.
  • An attempted burglary was reported Tuesday in the 500 block of Maurice River Parkway.
  • Tools were reported stolen Tuesday from a trailer in the 1600 block of South Orchard Road.
