On Friday, police were dispatched to Holiday Inn Express on Smith Street, near the Cumberland Mall, for reports of a stolen motorcycle.

The bike owner told investigators he parked his truck and trailer on the east side of the parking lot. The area was more secluded and he thought the bikes would be less visible, the bike owner told police.

But when he left the hotel at 7 a.m., the bike owner said he immediately noticed a 2013 Yamaha, valued at $3,200, was gone.

On Saturday, Bridgeton Police were called to a crash involving the motorcycle and a parked vehicle in the area of Maple Drive and Birch Street.
