Police seek Deerfield bank robber
DEERFIELD – Detectives hope surveillance images will help lead them to the man who robbed a bank in Deerfield last week.
A man entered the Fulton Bank branch on Morton Avenue at 1:57 p.m. Jan. 8 and handed a note demanding cash to a teller, according to New Jersey State Police.
The thief fled in a red Mazda B4000 pickup truck with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
Police said the suspect is black and was wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt, white gloves, blue jeans and tan work boots.
Authorities have released images from surveillance cameras that show the suspect and his vehicle. Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Rigo Onofre of the state police Bridgeton barracks at (856) 451-0101.
