Vineland police calls for July 24

  • Jonathan Santiago Romero, 30, of the 200 block of South Seventh Street was arrested Saturday at Elmer and Eighth streets on a Middle Township Municipal Court warrant.
  • Marquise Colon, 18, of Vineland, was cited for failure to yield after a collision 6:06 p.m. July 19 at Chestnut Avenue and Panther Road. Colon told police the sun was in his eyes and he didn’t see approaching vehicle.
  • Police are looking for the driver of a white Honda or Toyota involved in a hit-and-run collision 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Delsea Drive and Garden Road. The vehicle fled west on Garden Road, headed toward Mill Road.
  • Kenneth Mello, 47, of Millville, was issued a careless driving summons after a collision 8:55 a.m. Thursday at East and Grant avenues.
  • Philip Mendez, 36, of the 100 block of Bellevue Avenue in Hammonton, was arrested for driving while under the influence after police were dispatched to Main Road and Landis Avenue to investigate a person slumped over the wheel in a stopped vehicle at 11:38 p.m. July 15. Mendez was cited for reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and obstruction of traffic. A breath test measured his blood alcohol content at .07 percent, according to police reports.
  • Susan Miller, 36, of Wenonah, was arrested 12:21 p.m. July 15 at Park Avenue and Fourth Street and charged with driving while intoxicated after police were alerted about an erratic driver. A breath test measured her blood alcohol content at .15 percent, according to police reports. Miller was cited reckless driving and failure to maintain lane.

  • Christian Parker, 26, of the 1900 block of South Spring Road, was arrested July 16 on a Vineland Municipal Court warrant. He was held in Cumberland County Jail on $1,000 bail.
  • Amanda Carty, 28, of Dogwood Lane in Pittsgrove, was arrested Wednesday and charged with shoplifting 13 men’s ties and a hair straightening wand, with a total value of $203.87, from Marshalls.
  • Trim Dixson III, 51, of Millville, was issued a careless driving ticket after a collision 8:37 a.m. July 15 at Landis Avenue and Orchard Road.
  • Wanda D. Logan, 23, of Bridgeton, was issued summonses for passing over a double yellow line, driving while on the revoked list and no proof insurance after a collision 12:06 p.m. July 15 at Delsea Drive and Sherman Avenue.
  • Sherri A. Fedunok, 49, of Bridgeton, was cited for tailgating after a rear-end collision 12:28 p.m. July 15 at College Drive and Delsea Drive. The other driver told police he slowed down to enter a work zone.
  • Rina Rincon Cardenas, 24, of Vineland, was ticketed and arrested on three traffic warrants after a rear-end collision 5:43 p.m. July 8 at Spring Road and Lincoln Avenue. She was also cited for driving while her license was suspended and tailgating.
  • Ruth M. Campos, 42, of Raleigh, N.C. was cited for driving on a suspended license and careless driving after a collision 3:20 p.m. July 14 at Almond Road and Delsea Drive.
  • Euripides Feliciano, 41, of Vineland, was cited for improper entrance to a highway after a collision at 9:30 p.m. July 15 while he was pulling out of the Wendy’s on Main Road, near Chestnut Avenue.
  • Joshua M. Cascia, 26, of Vineland was arrested for driving while intoxicated after his vehicle struck a parked car in the first block of South State Street at 2:53 a.m. July 16. Cascia told police he was on his way home from Somers Point and must have fallen asleep.  The vehicle rolled onto the driver’s side. Cascia was able to the climb out the passenger side door.  The force of the collision pushed the parked car up onto a front lawn and into a porch, police said. A breath test measured Cascia’s blood alcohol content at .10 percent, police said. He was issued a reckless driving ticket.
  • Pedro Alvarez Gonzaga, 32, of Vineland, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a collision 1:11 a.m. July 18 at Third and Wood streets. A police investigation noted Gonzaga failed to stop at the stop sign, police said. He was cited for being an unlicensed driver, failure to stop, reckless driving and open container of alcohol in his vehicle.
