State Police involved in shooting in Upper Deerfield

UPPER DEERFIELD - New Jersey State Police reported a police-involved shooting outside of a home in Upper Deerfield early Saturday morning.
According to the state police Twitter page, troopers exchanged gunfire with a subject after a 911 call brought them to an undisclosed residence.

State police said the subject was struck and being treated. No troopers were shot in the incident, according to state police.
State Police Sgt. Stephen Jones told The Daily Journal that the New Jersey Attorney General's Shooting Response team is now handling the investigation.
