Antoine White, a Millville High School graduate in 2014 and defensive tackle at Penn State, announced Monday he is transferring to The University at Albany.

White made his announcement on Twitter thanking his friend, family and Penn State for the support.

“My past 3 years at Penn State have been filled with so many great experiences as a student-athlete, in school, sports, as well as in life. I am forever grateful for all of these and I have built relationships that I know will last a lifetime. … I wish Penn State Football nothing but success in the future. I believe God has a plan for me and I am excited to continue working on it and my future. Thank you for all your support.”

White will be eligible to play immediately because Albany is an FCS program. The team finished 7-4 in 2016.

White was a redshirt freshman upon arriving to Happy Valley in 2014. He made 12 tackles (1.5 for a loss) and a sack in 2015 and compiled 17 tackles (1.5 for a loss) and 1.5 sacks in 2016.
